Joining the Nottingham Arts Theatre If you enjoy theatre, why not join us and become a member of the Nottingham Arts Theatre? We have many members, so whatever your interest – from enjoying a regular night out at the theatre with friends, to helping out backstage or performing on stage – you’ll find a welcome at Nottingham Arts Theatre. We have three levels of membership – Friend, Playgoer, and Full Member – so you can choose the one that suits you.
Current Membership cards must be shown at the box office and at the bars to receive membership prices and privileges. * Excludes certain events † Excludes certain events. Maximum 2 per event and must be accompanied by member. Note: Young people under 18 can become Full Members by paying a special rate. They may not purchase alcohol in the bars and certain voting rights are restricted. Young members receive a free ticket for Tuesday night performances. Getting involved We have a wide range of opportunities for you to become actively involved backstage or front of house. Our performance spaces are equipped technically and are a great place to acquire hands-on experience. New staging members (e.g. props., painters, costumes, lighting, sound and crew) are always welcome, as are experienced directors and designers. Nottingham Arts Theatre has a very high standard of acting and to maintain this we hold open auditions for every show for actors wishing to join our acting company. Young members may also audition for all shows and additionally, become members of our youth theatre.
